WHO THE HELL is this woman ???
Christine Natanael has spent the last 22 years in the New York entertainment industry. She's had behind the scenes jobs as varied as mail clerk at Premier Talent and Radio Promo at Big Chief Records.
She was an Entertainment Relations Consultant for Gibson Guitars, where she secured endorsement contracts with Nirvana, Hootie and the Blowfish, Alice In Chains, Testament, Meshell'N'Degeocello, Biohazard, Bulletboys, White Zombie, Rocket From The Crypt, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Killing Joke (among others.)
She owned a small company called Perfect Word Promotions with clients that included Limelight's Sunday Night Rock'N'Roll Church; Eastside Entertainment and its aftershow and promotional parties for the bands Jane's Addiction, Judas Priest, Testament, Warrant (and many more) at the clubs RAW, Bond St. Cafe, and Limelight; Pretentious Skies and the Anti-Censorship Benefit for Rock The Vote (with the artists Robert Williams, Spain Rodriguez and Mick Rock as well as Chris Stein's group Stigmata-A-Go-Go).
Her next company, DC Media Manipulations, did PR for Group 4 Marketing, Fractured Cylinder, Flash Cooney and the Deans of Discipline, Bobby Gustafson's I4NI, Intruder, as well as Bebe Buell and Hellsbelles...
But she's probably best known for her work as a freelance journalist for the New York Review of Records, Reflex, LiveWire, Powerline, Shout!, Rock Scene, Metal Mania, Concert Shots, Easyrider's Tattoo, Metal Hammer, IFQ, Creem, and Details magazines covering the fields of music and popular culture.
She is currently the owner/editor of the online music/pop culture site that you are reading, known as crushermagazine.com.
