I was taking a trip to L.A. with The Throbs and the Cycle Sluts From Hell, two of the best-liked NYC bands at the time...I think it must have been '89 or '90..There was a massive rain storm...the airport had all the flights delayed...when we finally got on a plane, the fuselage got ripped when they were doing the tow-out...so we had to get off and get on a second plane....Finally sitting on the run way 6 hours later than our scheduled departure time, the plane in front of us crashed off the end of the runway at LaGuardia and into the water...They closed down the airport and sent us over to JFK to wait for another flight....some of these shots are from that night...the others are from when we finally got to L.A....
