BIOHAZARD SANCTUARY |

Brooklyn’s Biohazard has returned in 2003 with a slab of anger
titled Kill or Be Killed, that
picks up the thread of payback and retribution that has been their stock
in trade since their early days in ’88. |

Songs
such as “Never Forgive, Never Forget”, “Beaten Senseless”,
and “World On Fire” have vocalist/bassist Evan Seinfeld spewing
venom over the caustic rhythm section he comprises with drummer Danny
Schuler, while guitarists Billy Graziadei and Carmine Matteliano trade
distorted riffs. It sounds like a walk through their hard-edged Brooklyn
stomping grounds at 3am, dark and foreboding and more than a little dangerous.
For those who didn’t dig their forays into the more rap end of the
spectrum, this is a welcome return to their roots. This is a fitting soundtrack
for those days when you’re just pissed off at the world and nothing
short of a critical beat-down will appease. |
