Take a love for campy B-horror movies, add the sensibility of a Jackass, lay them over an iron backbone of down-tuned skate rock, and you could get CKY’s Infiltrate.Destroy.Rebuild: The Video Album.
Through the magic of DVD technology, CKY has produced two versions of an amazing video. First off, there are 12 music videos – one for each song on IRD and videos for their classic tracks “96 Quite Bitter Beings” and “Disengage The Simulator”. Then, there is the feature mode with commentary from the band and “director” Bam Margera that is hilarious. It helps show just how much fun CKY has whether it is in recreating classic slasher flicks, being Jackasses or just standing up playing their brand of hard rock. To improve the experience, the audio is available in either hi-fi stereo or, even better, 5.1 surround sound.

For hardcore fans of the band, there is a deluxe version available with a second disc titled Chopped & Sliced. The bonus disc has over three hours of footage of the quartet of Philly boys – outtakes and home video-type stuff.

The dual dvds should give CKY more deserved attention; they have been way too underrated outside of the skating community.
