D.O.A. SOMETHING BETTER CHANGE SUDDEN DEATH |
LINKS: |
| Looking for the real shit? Jonesing for something that’s not that an overproduced wad of phlegm known by the incredible oxymoron of pop/punk? Well, here it is—D.O.A.’s 1980 debut album re-released for the first time in 20 years. | ||
| . It’s Randy Rampage before Annihilator and Chuck Biscuits before Danzig. With Dave Gregg and the ever-lovable Joey Shithead, this disc is a requirement for punks everywhere (especially the younger ones). It’s loud, it’s snotty, and it’s the one that laid the blueprint for their following disc titled Hardcore ’81. One listen just isn’t enough. Some of my faves: “The Enemy”, “Get Out of My Life”, “Thirteen”, and “Rich Bitch”. | ||
