FOREVER
IS FORGOTTEN THE ARCHITECTURE IS STILL BURNING THORP |
LINKS: |
Milwaukee's Forever is Forgotten change up the typical metalcore formula a tad on its 10-track endeavor. While this quintet's arsenal is still a marvelous entity to behold in terms of pure heaviness, there's a lot more going on in these songs than a bunch of screaming and loud guitars. Layered vocals, melodic breakdowns, like the one heard in "Dying Beautiful", and extremely technical guitarwork are only part of the band's mighty din, and when combined with the aggressive edge, it's no wonder how FIF sold thousands of CDs solely at its shows. |

| It's called being original, boys and girls, and while the outfit utilizes many of the same standard accessories that other metalcore bands employ, no one puts it all in a neat package quite like these guys. Imagine Hatebreed, Cryptopsy, and Opeth lunching in a studio and you'll catch a glimpse of Forever is Forgotten. | ||
