The collection of Lower Class Brats songs on this CD is the best mix available. Might as well call it the "Best of". For those who don’t know the band, L.C.B. is a punk band—a "real" punk band that sticks to the base of punk rock—rebelling against the system. Coming from Austin, Texas, after hearing their music and feeling their message, you’d think they were from the dirty streets of N.Y.C.
. But real punk is real punk no matter where you come from. They are talented songwriters compared to all the generic punk bands flying out of teen homes in the past year or two (or however long it’s been since The Ataris have been on the radio). Their sound is hard, and very melodic in some tunes and all of their songs have an old school vibe to them. Definitely find a store hardcore enough to carry them and give them a chance—its time kids have a real band to influence them.
