Okay. The band name should give you some idea as to the lyrical content. If you’re a raging homophobe, well, it’s safe to say that this ain’t for you, Bubba. Musically, it’s straight out of the bubble gum pop of the ‘60s—like the Sonny and Cher kind—most notably on “Too Many Hoops,” and “Spiral” with tambourine and all. It’s like the Banana Splits meets Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Best song here, for the message that is, would be “No Protection.” It ought to be a public service announcement against the bare-backing phenomenon and for safe sex.
