Members of Symphony X, Fates Warning, Agent Steele, and Armored Saint are all featured here, making the performance on the self-titled release quite the exciting experience for those that thrive on the keyboard-driven, progressive sound of metal. | ||
| Besides the expert musicianship, the band shows its massive brainpower by paying homage to its favorite authors by structuring song concepts around their work. Stephen King and Ray Bradbury get such treatment, and the latter author's work inspired a 24-minute opus that closes the album out. Quite the proper climax to an album sure to make the prog metal fans a happy camper. | ||
