Their second studio album, The Files You Have On Me, is extremely power-driven, touching on all things rock from hardcore to punk and metal.  Blasting walls of metallic guitars and screamo ferocity slam up against hooky melodicism and ambitious time signatures.
This six-piece band consists of Christian Kruse (bass), Phil Meyer (drums), Axel Pralat (guitar), and Holger Behrens (guitar).  The two singers, Ingo Rieser and Marcel Biscoff, deliver wildly divergent vocals; one screaming in rage while the second’s soaring melodies tie them both to the bands crushing breakdowns.
Waterdown only formed three years ago, but they have managed to sign to Victory and release two studio albums all in that short time.  Within their first few shows they had managed to blow away Grade 8’s Kyle Bishop who immediately contacted Victory’s head Tony Brummel.  Without so much as a U.S. tour under their belts, the American label signed this band from Germany.  If this gives you any indication of how fast and driven these guys are, then you might have an idea about their music.
The band’s forte is definitely their live show, which is how they recorded the album in the studio, except for the vocals, in order to feed off of each other’s energy.  “I think the record has a strong live mood, energetic and immediate,” said bassist Christian Kruse.
     I agree with Christian.
